It’s been more than a year since I bought the trusty tank and the most recent thought I’ve had was, what’s next.
The mustang is the perfect daily and while I still have the opportunity I would love to get another occasional bruiser or a smaller more passenger friendly daily.
There are a few cars I would still love to experience in my youth. 70's-94 Bronco. A Volvo 245, Mercedes W123. The bronco and Volvo are within my means still.
The Vic is hard for me to sell because it’s running reliably despite the work it needs done on it, but I’ve lost the will to work on it any further. The smallest and easiest job that it really needs to make me keep it requires the engine to be hoisted (oil pan seal). Then there’s the axle seal and the E-brake.
Rarely a check engine light ever since I went synthetic and the mechanical oil pressure gauge helps minister what’s going on in there. She’s still the perfect college car. But maybe for someone else ? We’ll see.
